The Neu Schönau Zen Group was founded in 1995 and is open to everybody interested in the practice of Zen.
It is led by Ulf Weigand and meets at the Seminarhaus Neu Schönau, where sesshins are often held. There exists the opportunity to practice for some days and to join in the common work.
The group is incorporated in the Association Zen Internationale (AZI), which was founded by Master Deshimaru in 1970 and to which around 300 dojos belong worldwide.

How to get there

Take the Berlin-Hamburg Autobahn A 24 to the Wittstock Junction, then follow the A 19 towards Rostock. Take Exit No. 17 “Waren” and keep following the signs to Waren. Ariving at Waren, follow the signs in the direction of Neubrandenburg till Malchin is announced. Turn to the Malchin direction and follow the road to Alt Schönau. It is about 8 km from Waren to Alt Schönau. At Alt Schönau take the first turn to the left and immediately left again. It is now about 1 km to Neu Schönau.
